Replaced aging relay-based control system on a carpet backing line with a modern Allen Bradley PLC and touchscreen HMI. Improved operator visibility, reduced downtime, and added data logging for production reporting.
Designed and programmed a multi-zone chemical mixing control system with automated batch sequencing, flow metering, and safety interlocks. Included full E-Stop system and safety risk assessment.
Upgraded variable frequency drives on a multi-zone extrusion line. Coordinated speed ratios between zones via PLC, improving product consistency and reducing scrap rates.
